Boy, this was a good issue of autoweek. It seems that McLaren still has a fresh, brand new McLaren. And they're selling it! Yup, the last unregistred F1, chassis No.65, will be sold for a cool $1.8 million dollars. The highest an F1 has ever been sold outside an aution. And i have to ask. Is it worth it? Is it worth $1.8 million dollars to say that you have the newest McLaren on the block? If i had the money, and it was a choice between that and a SLR/ enzo/ veyron/ S7, i'd definetly take the F1.

They can keep it, there are a few supercars out now that are much better then that car.

Case in point the Enzo Ferrari and Carrera GT.

Unless I already had a Enzo Ferrari and a Carrera GT I would NEVER buy a F1.
As far as supercar standards go its braking and handling stink.
There are many supercars that can beat it, people just have to wake up and realize the F1 has been beat.:-)

Hell no, not to me. 0.86 g SUCKS, I won't even get into how crappy its braking numbers are.
Top speed does not make a supercar. On a track the F1 would get hammerd by a handful of supercars.

I'm going to agree with BluCamSS. There are many that can take it down, and for that price, You can get almost 3 Enzos with that kind of money :!:

i'd already be real happy with a ford GT or even a porsche 911 GT3; from there up, cars don't really deserve to cost that much $$; unless they're an investment IMO :wink:
